I sold my old 9 with in a week of advertising it for 6300

but its alot of work and you get the cash in drips and drabs.
EK9's are priceless in ma book.
Can n e one name me a new car that is quick, cheep to insure, not bad on petrol and handles like a mini? Plus come with an inferentry of LSD, 5 point suspention, indipendent rear suspention, magnisium alloys, the list goes on.....

Honda got the boffs in to show why R is for racing in the name. :drive: :nice:

Somebody like me who wouldnt want the money in drips and drabs I would just sell the car whole and get it over and done with! Plus I dont have the time, space nor patience for that lol
 
As a general rule of thumb I'd agree with those sort of prices. But a car is only worth what someone will pay. I've noticed that people on here tend to sell their cars for reasonable prices, but elsewhere in the land of Honda, some prices are ridiculous! It's coincidental this thread popped up because I laughed at this today:

The car is also rapped i'm sure.
 
If he gets that for it I will take my hat off and apologise profusely. But it's mental where some people get their valuations!

Some cars with Lunar miles, one from ireland, one that needs a rapid sale, and one that has a quickly written ad so is probably a quick sale too.

I wouldn't take 5k for my EK9 with 60k MILES on the clock.
 
Pretty fair guide generally :nice: Although I sold my 1997 Ej9 with D14 still in place for £3900 just over two years ago now! Pretty lucky eh? That was after driving it for over two years too and buying it originally for £1100! Not forgetting how much work and parts went into it though.

I couldn't put a sensible price on my current Y56 SiR EK, I brown nose it too much. lol

Cuz its probably no worth £5k in the first place...
 
You could make more if you sell it to a mug:D or someone who doesnt know about cars.

my friend sold his 1.4 with a big body kit and stereo a few years back for £10k cos a rich spoilt kid saw it and wanted it, he sold it "sold as seen" and then the bloke came back 2 weeks later wanting a refund saying it only worth £3k, he said it did remind him of veruca salt from willy wonkas lol
 
Sold my pre facelift ek9 with 59k miles for 5200, wasn't the cleanest
