Little Exhaust advice...not impressed

Also seing as you have a feels exhasut just sat there at the moment. Is there any chance you could measure the pipe diameter of the system. Just i was thinking of getting one, but i dont mind rewelding in stainless then spraying the whole thing black.

+ even weighing the system. Maybe asking a bit much but would be info for the forum.

THis isnt good...i sure wouldnt feel good selling someone an exhaust in that condition...i would give it away or throw it away first. Its a shame i hope the person is honest enoght to give u your money back

Sorry. Std B pipe are 1 peice not 2, the middle silencer is alot fatter slightly longer, have a honda 2" rear silencer and straight 2" flange out of it.

That system is 2 piece (i know could have been custom split but doesnt look it), it has quite a small middle silencer, has a silencer that is the same width through at the rear and the pipe out up to the rear flange is curved and the same size through as the system.

Id say its the same system as in the first pictures. All the joints and welds look the same, the silencers both look the same and the pipe routing/ bend shape all look the same. Just in very bad condition.

Same system, just fit for the bin. The fact that someone actually managed to convince themselves that whoever recieves it, won't dispute that the condition is 'very good', is just mind boggling. Some people need their balls clipping..and i'm not strictly talking metaphorically!

Ahh well. Looking at the pics from the good system, I'd probably do what's been said above and use a custom b-pipe. Those welds don't look the best and MIG welds are not something I'd be looking for with that system!

jeez thats a bad condition exhaust. Am i right in pointing out thats an EG6 that it came off? Looks it from the pics.

From the pics of a good condition newish one the wellds look milds steel mig welded to me, or just very untidy rough tig welded. From the looks of the system you bought it sound about right. Personaly i would be looking to buy a different make of system if they look like that newish.

If your really set on the sound or wanting feels then i would just get the crome back box and get a custom stainless system to suit. Pointless a system bein stainless if the welds/joints are not.

But as for that system you have bought i would defo be getting a refund or the majority of the money back.

I have a Mugen B-pipe currently on the car with my Twinloop, probably end up keeping that, or getting a custom B-pipe made up like you said, the welds certainly don't look the best. And yes you are correct, it came off an EG, so was going to be altered anyway, but in this condition it's just fit for the skip.....

Will do, see if I can find some scales haha! Internal pipe diameter is 2.5", I'll post up some pics when I get chance

But I agree with you, I think the standard B pipe only has 1 hanger near the silencer

Yeh I agree, Feels products do tend to be good quality, this exhaust is just a complete mess! And I have no idea why it is mild steel, it should be stainless!

I haven't asked the mods to dig into this yet as I'm still waiting to hear back from seller, hasn't been 24hours since I contacted him regarding this yet.

If its going in the skip let me know . There aint no custom exhaust places over here so i will be making my own, i could just re-use the piping+hangers.

Sorry to hear your problem mate, I've seen this on other forums in the past where parts get sold on based on Chinese whispers from previous owners. I was once sold a 'Varis' carbon bonnet only to find out it was a cheap Hong Kong copy turns out it was 4th hand old and somewhere between the 1st and second owners it was suggested that it may have been a Varis. My best mate was told his car had a genuine Yashio Factory manifold only to find the same system in one of those Hyper Revs mags under a much cheaper brand.

Whilst I don't condone poor or sub quality parts being sold to others, if the seller genuinely doesn't know what they are then you can't do much.

Hope you get it sorted, if not get it banged up on eBay I'm sure you could sell it on to some JDM junkie.

Thanks mate, to be honest I'd rather not put my name to selling a B-pipe in that condition, it's ready for the skip!

The seller can't exactly claim ignorance, it is a Feel's muffler, the B-pipe I'm not 100%....never seen one in mild steel, but the shape/welds/silencers are the same! And it was listed with a bunch of other genuine Feels parts.

The issue I have is that it was listed as "Very good condition", which this clearly is not! There are others for sale out there in "Very good condition" and they look like the systems I posted at the top of the first page! That is what has annoyed me about this, especially since I paid £500, and the others are listed much cheaper, I was assured of the condition...(very good condition, no marks, no scratches, no scrapes, no visible holes)

I just hope the seller gets in touch soon as I have heard nothing!
