My 1968 Honda S800 Re-build


Im working my tits off its just hard with, wife+work+horse and 3 kids. I might be able to hold off the divorce till JapFest as long as I help out more after.

Bit of an update.

Finally funished flatting the body and got it all ready for respray in the morning.

I brought some of it home with me today to get flatted back.
I have two replacement window fraims as mine were a little bent. I will have to paint all 4 as the straight ones might not fit the car.

Wet sanding primer? Why are you doing this to yourself? Block sand with a dry 320, then use an electric sander with either 320 or 400 and finish again electric sander 500 or 800 wet.

Nothing Wrong with wet sanding primer. He is using a block thats all that matters. Plus less dust.

It's time consuming to begin with, tiresome and in a professional environment very unproductive method.
 
Couldn't find my rubber block so had to use this. The body shop I do some work for just use p600 wet/dry.

This is epic! I was looking at pictures of an S800 beside and ee civic and the s800 is tiny beside it!

Finally got it painted tody :bow: There is a few small defects to redo but im just going to have to do these at a later date as i want it ready for Japfest :nerv:

I have someone i know who is a mobile painter coming to my house to paint the doors and boot lid tomorrow.
Also going to tow it home on the A Fraim and see if i can get it running.
