this would be the best and rare build u can see in the forum well detailed aswell every single bit :nice:

Here are all the new parts i have managed to locate and buy:-

These bits are all from a guy in Japan that sells some new "S" parts. Stainless
bonnet stand, grill edging, Honda sticker, Jap style cigarette lighter, heater outlet/tap.

This came new from Australia Steering column cowling

Finally these new bits came from a company in Birmingham that purchased all left over parts from dealers in UK Steering column mount clamps, oil filter, water pump gaskets/oil seal

Had to recon the Alternator as one of bearings sounded noisy. When i stripped it down found the brushes nearly totally worn out.
Luckily the company in Birmingham stocked the brushes. Looks like Honda still make them as have modern packing.
The bearing were also in stock.

Check out how worn the old brush is, was barely touching the armature.

Just got back from workshop, got a few jobs done:-

Fitted the new steering column top mount that was missing.

Drained the engine, gear box and diff oil's and popped the new centrifugal oil filter in.

Last little bit of rust worm to cut out from the bonnet recess.

Just had these turn up.

Standard size in 1968 was 6.15" x 13". The sort of standard new size is 145/13 but i opted for 165/65/13.

My paint formula finally arrived from Germany so paint supplier was able to mix original colour. And you thought Champ White was dull, this colour looks proper like magnolia

Sorry, silly me changed the folder name on FastJapCars
Fixed it now.

Finished touching in and filling small defects, reprimered these bits and sprayed guide cost on. Now got the "camo look".

Pictures later today.
