**** ENGINE SWAP PG.2 ****

Wont bore you all with photos of my completely standard CW EK9. It's an early facelift but came spec'd with all of the Rx options

-EDIT-
Currently my mods are:
Project Mu Brake Pads
Mugen Pedals (Came with the car)
Fujitsubo Legalis-R
Hi-flo Cat
poon fixed struts with Spoon springs
Spoon engine mounts
HEL Braided brake lines
Hardrace Full Bush Kit
Mugen CAI mated to ARC Intake Chamber
Tegiwa front & rear strut braces
B18C with baffled sump
Toda Manifold
Yoko Advan AD08s

And eventually a map by Eurospec

Then these arrived today from Tegiwa:

Fantastic quality I have to say upon 1st inspection and the start of a collection of parts for a B18C swap. Will post up pics as they arrive as they should be all coming shortly :D And once all is in my possession the whole lot should be fitted in the following week. Looking forward to a complete change in the way she drives :drive:

When I 1st got her I was an apprentice so all my money had gone into the car and paying for fuel. Now she hardly gets driven as I've got a van :(( I've always wanted to mod her so thought, sod it, I'll do it all in one go, lol. Then I have some trackdays to look forward to.....

As requested, some pics from a few years back:

More parts have arrived today:

High flow cat and sump baffle

Final parts have been finalised and put on order.... consist of Toda and Fujitsubo exhaust parts

Another quick update. I have my new rocker cover off being shot blasted before it's new lick of paint.... think I'm going to be boring and re-paint it wrinkle red as I'm no artist.

Also, baffle has been installed in the sump.... no pic of it in but this is the sump before we welded the baffle in.

Not too fussed about how clean it is as it'll be heat wrapped but it's in perfect condition apart from that. Got it for a great price too :woot:

:O Holy Moly!!

where did you get the toda from?

I got it from a guy on the ITR forum for just shy of £500, The reason it looks so dirty is that it appears to have been heat wrapped before....

What is the benefit of heat wrap, does it give a better flow or protects other components?

the hotter the exhaust gasses the quicker they flow

its also good for keeping engine bay temps down

Finally another update!

Fitted my brand new Fujitsubo LegalisR and Hi-flow cat today. I wasn't expecting much of a difference but really suprised quite how much difference it's made. After about 3.5k it really picks up. No pics of it on the car as yet but sounds subtle yet great!

Update:

Over the weekend the car went up to Endless Horizon. Seem decent guys and very friendly... anyway, the Eek's having a full re-bush and the Spoon suspension fitted. Due to be collected Friday, boy am I looking forward to that drive.

As soon as I get it back, the new rubber will be being fitted too seeing as the RE010s are on their very last legs
