Just had a read through the thread :) Your 9 looks spot on mate :nice: obviously a lot of time spent keeping it as clean as it is. Enging bay looks great :nice: How much did you pay for the spoon springs, if you don't mind me asking?? Looking forward to hearing what there like.

Small little updated

Ive recently fitted my spoon springs (well yesterday) and just got some pictures

sorry for the really bad pictures didnt have my camera at hand so had to use the iphone look so much better on that tiny little screen :lol:

They havnt worn in yet so running a bit high and feel the same atm the but once ive done a few miles on them im sure they will be perfect :nerv:
 
The height looks spot on and im sure it handles very well!! Lowering a car more looks good but its so much hassle driving about on our rough UK roads. These springs will also give perfect camber/ LCA arm angles and they should drop a little more as you put miles on them:nice:

i think a couple of weeks and it will be a perfect height and overall the spring will be worn in and perfect :)
 
What height has the spoon springs dropped it by? What's the measurement from center of the wheel to the top of arch? (cms) thanks

i havnt measured the height drop yet but over time they will get lower and lower but atm i would say they are a tad lower than the oem, ive read and heard that they will eventually drop by around 20mm but cant comfirm that yet.
best thing about them is that they are stiffer and feel better than the oem!

ill measure them tomorrow to see how far they drop when they are brand new, and then ill measure next month some time.
 
Need to adjust my coilovers there too low and the height on yours looks spot on. Some measurements would be good :)

spoon springs have been on for a bit now and are starting to feel ALOT better, they feel like the oem suspension but alot more stiff and positive.
car handles even better now with the springs
