Engine doesn't feel to bad, could do with valve clearence as sounds abit tappity. Could do with a good service, but not worth it as engine will be out in a few weeks time :)
 
Had a busy weekend, at least Paul and a mate did. Stroked engine fitted not running yet though, waiting for new driveshafts to arrive and also need exhaust and airbox.

Every single one of the engine mounts were shot, then again i guess they had done over 200k kilometers. Since engine was out decided to fit brand new Honda clutch to.


Also picked up a set of Brides for it, using the OEM rails at the mo which makes them a lil high, but will do untill i can find some proper Bride rails. I like it as i can see over the steering wheel, Paul doesn't as his head is almost on the roof.

Nice work Liv.. Paul too.. I take it he left the box in it when he changed the engine ?
 
looking well girl plenty of work happening to it then well by paul and mate anyway :naughty: keep the pics coming , wish i had took pics during my bits getting added. what engine mounts did you go for ? i thought the hardrace ones that i got were a good job

Have no idea what mounts they are.
 
Fitted new exhaust. Fujitsubo RM01A :) And a temporary airfilter to get it running, don't like open cone, so it wont be staying.

some type R's came with manual windows? didnt know :D
 
Hi, do you mind telling me where you got the seats from, i've been looking for a pair of good leather seats for ages and those look ace! nice car btw. :nice:
 
Managed to find some Honda Mondulo (sp) suspension, only 20mm drop so perfect for me.
Just gotta wait for them to arrive. Will fit them when i do the new bushes ready for spring.

Is taht suspention what came with the "sports pack" option? swear ive seen it before as an OEM upgrade meant to be good stuff but with a sensible ride height!

Great build so far love it! :D
 
Yeah they are 5 point adjustable showa dampers, very similar setup to mugen 5 ways :nice:
