New R-Motion Race Car Project!

Very Nice

Alot of potential with this car, what are the plans???

First step is replace front bumper and front wings with wider versions (you cant really lower and run 17s with stock fenders). Also need N/S door as it has a few dings.

Then, usual race prep (cage, handling, wheels, etc.), get rid of all the weight (lexan, interior etc.), run the engine stock till we blow it up:lol: . Will keep TCS and ABS for the moment till we get used to it as well Twisted Evil

Sounds great, I would have thought that the arches would have plenty of room to lower in 17's but obviously not!

If you are running the engine until if fails, you might be trying for a while

Cant wait to see the nsx track ready, Honda supercar can't go wrong :naughty:

FUUUUUU ck..... awesome project... wow this is gonna be killa once finished. ah man i;d love to have an Nx for a race project..

Will stay NA. Tuning the NSX isnt cheap (actually nothing is cheap for it - in fact I'm renaming it the N£X!!

But first step for tuning will be to fit a standalone ECU - Euro4 probably but due to the complexity of the NSX electrics (drive by wire, TCS which all talk to the ECU in a non standard protocol (no CAN here) we will have to fabricate our own loom

Thats a V nice pic above - I'm toying with going widebody but need to look more into the suspension and wheel implications. GRP panels are about 1/3 of the price of OEM at least!

That looks mint carnt wait for the updates also

just don't go pricing a new front bumper for it from honda... it'd make you weep

the upper section retails at £1527.89 and the lower section £407.75

going by that i'd say tasteful aftermarket or go wide if your not going to repair the originals

Dont worry, I got my weeping out of the way a few days ago.

Thankfully plentiful supplies of much cheaper aftermarket GRP panels in the states and Japan. On the NSX every single panel just unbolts.
