Love for cars change just as the situation changes. I don't support this thread as I think its the owners choice whether to break or not as nobody knows another persons situation.
As many people know, the car market is massively down. If a ek9s werent broken, then owners may be forced to value their car less, which will put the whole ek9 market down on a whole! Owners may also show neglect to the car, or in extreme circumstances, may be forced to do an insurance jobby etc..
Another thing, when a car is broken, the parts are sold all over, so parts can be more available and rare parts can be purchased. If no ek9s were broken, everything will have to be purchased through honda! On top of that, there are many other ek model civics which require the parts! I for 1 bought an ek9 and needed many stock parts to save it, now where would those parts be if ek9s werent broken? Should i put on inferior model parts to save costs?
Lastly, it will pretty much slow down, i think this is just a phase, itr's went through the same thing.
