I don't agree with the fact that people are now seeing it as 'trendy' and applying it to cars that are so far away from the scene, but such is the nature of society and people in general.

But to the people slating the look in itself (see above), don't forget that it arose from a scene of enthusiasts not so dissimilar to ourselves. After all, I bet the guys in that scene cannot understand what we find so appealing about Type-R's.

I'm actually quite surprised at the hate going on in this thread, would've thought as a bunch of enthusiasts you'd be a little more open minded than that. Not to say I don't understand people not liking it, it's just the hostility that I disagree with.

Fitting pURe mega mad JDM as FUK Mugen Bodykit would honestly look worse than that bonnet but you would all bum it coz its "moogen"

Lets drop the SERIOUS levels a bit or your all gonna end up with hernias

fyi, marks (ek9) bonnet is a spare that was dented, his oem one is still pristene (cf one back on now)

There not ferrari enzo's, there honda civic's, there is no 'rules' on what you can and cant do.

My accord was given to me and i wanted to have some fun with it, i dont care what other people think i like it, and i do get mixed reactions but if i cared what people thought i guess id just clean it and put a spoon n1 on it.

XSREzone is fairly Shoddy "tagline" IMO and i was giving the guy a bit of thought on what a potential customer may have been thinking.

I think some of the replies in this thread are MEGA pathetic and people got a bit excited about it all. thats all.

The boy quite clearly did it for a laugh so if you could all please climb out of your own asses because yous are the ones giving this forum a bad name IMO

not this guy who has rusted a bonnet for a laugh and never even posted it up on here!

I bet if it had a B18 under the bonnet yous would all be singing a different tune!

EK9s are already very common, this was always going to happen with them becoming older than 10 years and not requring an SVA
 
Fraid so, not quite the citreon saxo yet but there are 6 or 7 around this area alone, and its all younger guys that have them
 
dunsy is speaking sense here, you may have bad things to say about it just dont be such a fag about it. its up to the owner what the f!!! he does with it and clearly he is having a laugh, and he has now got a c/f hood on now, i bet you lot will go nuts for it.
 
EK9's are not common at all. And will they feck be the next saxo in the next 6 years down the line. No it's not a Ferrari, but it's not a car you see everyday either like your saxo's, clio's, corsa's etc . . . It's an Enthusiast's car just like a RX-7, Supra, Skyline, DC2's, DC5's and so on.

It's a EURO thing for shite EURO car's. So why even bother to try it on a Jap sports car.
