Ian, I Dare you to come up for this...

sounds good! if my car is ready by then I will be there, I am chocking to go on the track! If my car is not ready any chance I could jump in with someone as I have never been to knockhill never mind a track day?! PLEASE??lol :)

As Dunsy says i've booked this too, should head along even just to spectate!

As long as you sign your name to get a wristband to be a passenger (free), i'll easy take you out for some laps, just come over and say hi !

My dad is also booked on in his FD2, looking forward to seeing how it goes on track, may have to hassle him for a shot of it for a few laps :nerv:

Steven, i wanna race you bad. Hopefully my OEM pads and discs and worn Parada spec 2s can keep up

I'll have some almost new R888 and still to order some DS3000 pads, can have my hawk HP+ cheap cheap if you fancy??

HAHA should be fun, I want to hassle some faster cars

that would be sweet thanks! :nice::nice:

I hope both of you hassle some faster cars!! EK9 FTW!

Just ordered yellae stuffs all round stevie met :( Wish youd txt me man. Will still be running the shan tyres though, although i have two A048s with tread left so might stick them on the front. hmmm

Il be der to watch you two and cheer uz on if my car is back on the road lol.

I so wish i wasnt breaking my 9:mad:

I said to myself that the next Day at Knockhill i was going to come up in mine!:angry2:

Yellae stuffs will outperform the Hawks so don't worry :blinx:

You sure about that mate, i wouldnt have thought so myself TBH

I have used both & the Hawk hp+ were defo better!
IMO of cors!:p

Got HP+ on the front of my EK9, on road they are very good

On track I found that they were fading after a few laps, although I brake hard and late.......

Compared to the carbotech XP8 I ran on track before the hawks were weak, carbotechs were UNREAL, although sold them as the dust was mental, had trails as far and high as the doorhandles after a 2 hour session

Would LOVE another set of Endless CCX, although want something I can source easy, so Ferodo DS3000 it is :nice:

Like you say though, different opinions, brake pads depend on where you tried them

does the car need any mods to go on a track? roll cage etc? or is it just a helmet?

All ive ever ran was OEM Pads so im sure these will be better than them. and for £130 delivered for front and rear its much cheaper than the Endless pads i was gonna go for.

They were £480 before delivery! HAHAHA

Even the Ferodo DS2500 are £110 for fronts only. I think for the cost, Yellowstuffs will be really good. they get a good review also :nice:

This is all very true!:nice:

I didnt get any fade at all from my Hawk hp+ on track but as you say diffrent tracks will give you diffrent results, due to amount of corners, how hard you have to brake & how long they have to cool on a stright befor the next corner ect ect.

Have you removed the dust plates from behind the discs? As i found that to aid cooling loads!:nice:

I have only heard good things about DS3000 & as you say are easy to source which is a big factor when you are going through them quite offten!
