Even the Ferodo DS2500 are £110 for fronts only. I think for the cost, Yellowstuffs will be really good. they get a good review also :nice:

O they will out peform OEM no probs, i wasnt trying to say they were crap mate. Just that they wernt quite as good as the Hawk IMO.

& as you say for the cost they are worth every penny!:clap:

Nah, considering doing this as I need to split my hubs to fit extended studs and wheel bearings which arrived today

Like you say, great for the cooling advantage, not so great if your outer CV goes and spits grease all over your brakes :shocked:

Very true but just make sure your CV is in good order befor you remove them!:p

i don't suppose the car in your avatar is yours? if so is that the one that spat a rod up at crail last year?? felt sorry for the marshall trying to carry the steaming remains of the rod

ye that was mine lol it have done 120k miles so all good lol got a new block and turbo and saved my hks cams from the old one luckly :dance: ye i still hav the bit i my house lol

I know your car is modded Steven, but it will be good to see how the FD2 stands up? Does it have any mods?

FD2 has Mugen brake lines, mugen front slotted discs, just fitted project mu b-spec pads all round, also running hankook RS2's

Think I can easy give him some hassle, having driven both cars plenty, you can chuck mine about a bit more, his one just feels VERY tight but not as chuckable if you know what i mean, feels way more refined.......

Also mine will be down to circa 950kg by then, it's getting torn apart this weekend for "a few" tweaks :naughty:

Mates booking up a space in his Ibiza cupra R, just been away getting mental power and a quaife :drool:

I Might have one sorted mate, Need to order a mount and im sorted :) Cheers though man, Looking forward to seeing how my civic does against the FD2 aswell :D

Sounds awsome and your both brave going with the current weather conditions! If it were closer I would come and watch.

Im currently doing my research on brakes, then im set for track days in the summer :))

where abouts is the track? near like glasgow? edinburgh? none of them? lol

the track is just north of edinburgh mate
