The gearbox used is mental (even though you can buy 2 DC2's for one of those boxes :p )

I dont like build threads that dont 'finish' I dont mean totally finished obv,

but that didnt even get paint or hit the road lol

me and my mates have just finished our k20eg and took it for a road test. It revs! scared the **** out of me how well it goes!

cant beleive i read the whole thread :O it'd be interesting to see how much it set him back :S needs to be finished , will be madness

K20 Eg,s are Old hat up here, theres quite a few of them kicking about

Supercharged K20 & K24 hybrid is whats down

I would love to get a K24 into my car...maybe next year. I need to stop swapping engines, its becoming addictive. Gone from a D16y8 to b16a2 to b18c-r and now im talking K24? when will my madness end!

Great link tho, loved the pedal setup from willwood. damn nice. and the dry sump! sheesh!

Thanks for the compliments though, i gues i will have the car running this season. Simply takes so long as it cost a lot of money building it like this.

The owner must be really friendly with his bank manager!

Even though its 'another K20 build' I love the attention to detail, and lets face it - if we all could do such a build ... we would!

... nice too see how they have overcome some issues and I cant wait to see the results on track and dyno :nerv:

This thing is going to destroy tarmac :D

Josh..

No bank involved mate thats why it is taking this long (2 years now), but thanks for the kind words!

@ Ian, dunno kel is going to finish it but he needed to discuss it with Tonny, otherwise we'll screw it together in my own garage..
