Alri type heads i got a 00facelift ek9 and got few things done to it,at the mo its runin perfect but want a littld bit mre power .this is me spec dc sports mani,,hybird induction kit,,flywheel,,chrome remap,,4.9final drive,,ngk plugs and leads and exceedy race clutch,i waz thinkin bout b18c but rather stick to b16b at the moment.so any mods u knw to boast bita bhp or alot on the 1.6beast

must be quick with the mods it has already lol, set of cams or stroke it :D
 
Stroke it is you best option IMO. Must be quick with the 4.9 final drive already.
B16b isn't the best engine to turbo I think 1.8 or maybe throttle bodies would be better
 
ITBs will give you a modest power gain but lots more torque, similar to B18C5.

Might cost a bit to set up and tune though...
 
Nice spec already, what power does it make after being mapped on chrome and who mapped it??
 
the car is a rocket alri with the final drive,,got skunk2 catback exuast too,,my ecu is a obd1 chrome ecu.about the cams do u think it gives it much gains as in the ek9 cams are aggresive so dnt knw if it wud be worth the money for other cams,,but strokein it cud be the nxt step any of yous on here stroke ther b16b??i got my chrome remap in urban porformance in dublin i dyno it after it was 175bhp but got it maped only with the manifold and iduction kit at the time,,so im gonna get it dyno tomrow since i got few things done to it since and il let u knw wat i got,,should be near 200bhp or mre.

Don't want to p#ss on your parade but I doubt you'll see 200bhp with those mods. I'm running a b18c in mine and it totally transforms the car. With a few breathig mods you should see 200bhp with that set up
 
will c anyway wen get it dynoed il be hapy if its in the 190bhp,,but i have b18c for breakfast wen cums to racein haha 4.9 is the way to go man,,put that in ur b18c it will be an anti christ haha,,very gud for short distance race.i myt head mondello on mon few people tellin me to track so il go on open day have bit crack.type in langers type r on you tube few videos of my ek9.

But anyway...No cams, just stroke it. If you already have a mappable ECU then re-use the B16b pistons with the rest of B18 parts for slightly higher compression and so more power and all with Honda reliability and no need to muck about with cams.

Or just drive the tits off of it as it is, wait for a pop, and then do it.
