Always run 195/50/15's, Track tyres are some Hankook RS2's which are now sadly discontinued . Really like them too. Getting some Federal's or AD08's when I next need tyres for track.
195/55/15 but I think I may get 50 profile when I renew, they look a little big, occasionally rubbing and will increase my acceleration (v.slightly) ;o)
This could be a very nice thread if you have pics included. I'm thinking about changing but don't know if to go 195/50 or 205/50 as i like my car low. I currently have on 195/55 but would like something a bit broader. What do u guys think? This is for both street and track.
I have been using 195/50/15 Kumho Ecsta V700's all year on both road and for Hillclimbs and have been really impressed.
I started with super soft front and rear but the fronts were too soft for the dry.I use Medium now on the front for dry and Super soft on the rear. If heading for a track I would say Hard on the front and Madium on the track.
Great tyres and not too badly priced either.
track- gg compound 195/50/15 r888,going to get some slicks for next season tho
road -hankook rs2 and hankook ventus evo good road tyres
winter-i dont use it in winter lol
Since this thread has been started I dont want to start a new one...
I like my car extremely low....with the 195/55/15 I dont get any issues with rubbing...however I want to change my tyres to 205/50/15....Would I have to roll the back arches or would they clear the rear fender okay? This is with the standard EK9 rims btw...
