Duddingston coachworks have been given the go ahead to repair my car! :) totally over the moon! :) Total cost is £2,500 coutesy of the dudes insurance that hit me.

They done a full inspection and geometery test and there is no damage to the chassis and alignment is still perfect! :)

The good thing about where the damage is is where the only bit rust is coming through on the car and now it will be gone as that is now getting cut out as it was on the rear quarter! :) I am getting a new rear quarter, B pillar, door, sideskirt, Type R decal and clips, etc and all sprayed, etc! :)

Wait and see what kind of job they do but I have heard good things about them so fingers crossed! Cheers for all the kind comments when it happened guys! :)

Glad it's getting sorted, have they given you a comically underpowered courtesy car til it's fixed ?

Cheers dude! Yea not a great feeling but well glad its getting sorted, would have made me depressed to see it get written off then have to break it! :(( all good now tho! :dance:
 
Hey lads I have been informed my ek9 is all repaired, painted and looking the nuts but all that is holding it up is the coachworks are still waiting on a new passenger side seatbelt being delivered from Honda! They informed me this was damaged in the crash also! I wasnt going to complain because I know how expensive those are from honda!
