Ek-k20 build up

hi everyone! this is my build.

this is the victim

it all started when i pulled out the b18c6.

then a fresh paint in the engine bay

the "new" engine arrived

the victim ready and waiting to receive the k

the walbro

the engine mounts (hasport) now replaced by hybrid mounts

the valve cover paint job

after some months with the build in stand by i restarted again,

dc2 full lenght radiator modified to fit the k20 water hoses, new rbc intake manifold, r-crew header, dc5 power steering pump,hybrid racing fuel rail,hybrid racing shifter cables,buddyclub short shift,hybrid racing water hoses with t-clamps, aeromotive fpr and AN black fittings

ready for a test run

i really need to finish the car, the map sensor is not good,the wiring loom is all striped, the interior is a mess, the sway bars are waiting to be installed,the red recaro spg and the other ek9 recaro are also waiting to be installed,and there is a lot more to do.. details as long as it continues to work properly

This is an amazing build. Its probably the only k20 ek in portugal? Is there a big JDM scene down there i doubt it?

yes it his, now i'm using a oem one because the new hybrid racing mounts and dc5 power steering pump doesn't allow me to use it without cutting a bit. i'll take care of it in a near future.

why did you switch from HAsports to Hybrid Mounts?

mugen steering wheel, mugen pedal kit, navigation console and the spoon ti shift knob and the lovely ej6 seats with the super high position seat rails

why did you switch from HAsports to Hybrid Mounts?

first i think the hybrid/innovative are really better and look really fine in the engine bay. second the hasport were originally ekk1 to use ek original subframe, but converted them to use my dc2 subframe, they were fine but the engine was sitting a bit to low, maybe 1,5cm/2cm lower than he his now.. the oil pans are expensive
