Bare in mind there were 2 of us, and my mate si was working on it while i was at work (he was made redundant the unit is 30second from my work) so i just went over every evening / weekend and lunchtime and he was there while i was at work , and weekdays. Took us 10days in total, Thats if you ignore the couple of days we did nothing becuase we were waiting for parts.

It will be great fun tho, and the feeling of satisfaction at the end is awesome!

!!!!NEW UPDATES!!!!

Hi guys well i though i would post some latest pics on my build :)

i have ordered some nice goodies and i am also due to collect something next week so i will post up the new parts as soon as they are back at my work ;)

I thought i would use this weekend to get the car fully stripped and cleaned out as well as degrease the whole shell and get rid of any dirt etc behind interior and the exterior panels. Luckily i did not snap any of the plastics this time :p

The interior was quite bare to begin with and looked like this:

I thought it would be good to try and lose as much weight as possible before i waxoil the car on sunday night ;)

I then went a bit hoover and show shine crazy lol but i am delighted at the condtion of the shell now all round and with the level its at is now ready for its waxoil before the main parts start getting fitted.

Here is what the car now looks like after removing interior/exterior panels and cleaning up:

And i could not forget my first purchase of the car( see if u can spot dk(thats his new nickname btw lol)

most of yous will recognize him from jays (ek9cub) ek9 who kindly sold him to me :)

Well thats all for now i will post pics up of the full waxoil on sunday night/monday morning, and then keep ur eyes out next week for some BIG updates ;)

DK fits in well, he's just waiting to hear the b18 vtec that he's use to :)

Car looks very clean John has looked after it well, be keeping an eye on your build plus DK. :nice:

Looks like an awesome project in the making, kind of inspired me to do a build from the shell up sometime soon.
