Decent update this time. Had some free time after having my 2nd child with being on paternity leave so had a few hours in the garage. First job up was an exhaust change, i love the jap can and it will be back but i wanted that loud dry rasp. Half an hour and we have a zerofighter kanjo pipe fitted.
I then decided it was time for the shopping list and advan stickers to go so they came off along with almost every other sticker on the car. On the rear i got a new hiro racing sticker made up to give it a proper kanjo street team vibe. I refuse to run no good or temple because its insulting unless you buy genuine stickers.
During a night feed with my new baby i noticed the battlecraft gear knobs were on sale again so managed to whip one up before they sold out again and got it chucked in, i had one before but it was the smaller one. The large feels amazing in the hand and makes ths throw slightly less clunky which is nice.
Next up was my long awaited new set of wheels. I toyed with this idea for a while and decided just to go for it. A friend had bought some racingspirits stencils for a 15 inch tire so i borrowed them and got to work. Tires got de greased and force dried with a heat gun to allow the paint to stick properly. Its the tidiest i could get them unfortunately but i feel it adds character to them.
Lastly i removed the c west lip as im going to keep the car oem for the time being. The lip already has a new home too, next change is something different again but for now ill stay osaka style. Car badly needs lowered to close the arch gap, with these wheels being smaller and narrower than the advan rgs they shouldnt rub at all which will let me go lower without any issue. Lastly i mocked up the new verno sun strip, still to get it fitted properly next time im in the garage.
The advans are currently for sale on marketplace if anyone wants some mega cool wheels for their dc2/ek9.
