That looks sweet, not keen on the tan leather. Lad at work has one with a hks twin pipe on it sounds mean. Would like one in grey there at a good price now. Any plans or you just going to enjoy it? Bet the snow is fun :)

Dan I thought you got rid of the 9 so you could finish the starlet LOL :)

Sweet 350 tho, my mate had 1 and the pull is great from the V6.

Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! How could you!!

Sorry i work for a nissan dealer and service all the 350z's on the island. have to say im not there biggest fan, Very expensive to run. To twitchy and always feel torquey but still lacking, I suppose a little tuneing would sort that (expensive).

Always thought the specs were 276hp/268lbft and 1525kg. It was the 03 35th aniversary and facelift later spec 06 models with the new engine and redesigned intake that had 296hp and 309hp.

Circa 180hp/ton

Not sure on the specs of the import models though, Assuming yours is UK.

Watch out for Clicking noisy rear drive shafts and make sure wheel alignment and tyre pressuress well checked as they love to chew those expensive tyre's within a few thousand miles. Also the underside are REALLY not well protected from factory so if you plan on keeping it id advise giving it an extra coat of underseal. Seen loads going rusty within 3-4 years old. (just out of waranty lol)

wow thats a tidy motor, that v6 sounds glorious, enjoy it mate!

never really been a fan of these but it looks tidy congrats man :nice:

Hated these till looking around a blue one in the flesh, far nicer in person, but tried getting in it and couldnt get anywhere close, gave the owner a good laugh if nothing else!

@Souter, Thank you! Yes i especially like the interior, very luxurious to be in. Beats a change lol...

@ek9cub, Yeah it does sound pretty sweet. Im really not sure on plans, i just fancied one and see where it goes... Ill definitely be leaving it as it is for the moment, spent a fair amount of cash on just buying this lol...

@Knightsy-EK9, I really dont know whats going on with the starlet yet mate lol... Very indecisive i am!

@aRc, Cheers buddy. Yeah ive always liked these to. And i thought was a good time to own one...

@KieranEG6, Hahaha, thats fair enough dude, everyone is entitled to their opinion :) Regarding the power ive done all the search haha..

They state 276 but in fact they all have 287. Mid 2005 they made a "high rev" engine with 300BHP but with less torque. The 35th anniversary Edition also used this 300BHP engine and was made in 2005 not 2003. These engine are known as the "DE"... after 2007 they made the "HR" engine which is in fact a better 306BHP.... and noticeably faster.

2006 models upwards weigh around the 1515KG, pre 2006 the European model(mine) weighs 1450KG. Known as the "track model" only sold in Europe.

Ive not raced any cars yet to compare but its definitely a quick car. Stock, people achieve 13.7-14.0 second quarter at over 101-103MPH terminals... HR models circa 13.4... Definitely not slow... Although i didnt buy this car for performance, just really fancied one.

Thanks for the advice their buddy... I hope it goes smoothly. I didnt expect maintenance to be cheap before i bought it anyway. I'll keep a watch out. Yeah the tires are like 245 18", cant wait to buy new ones :( :( lol

@Gav-EK9, Thanks mate! Yeah some people dont like them, thats fair enough he he

@jordan101, Cheers dude!

@wooks, Yes, i have to agree there, in person they are alot nicer. What do you mean you couldnt get in? As in you are very tall?

im 6'6 and 21 stone, if id got in id have not been able to drive it...,but i have no idea what model it was so some seats are lower/higher than others. In fairness i struggle in alot of cars so not saying its a fault of the car.

Prefer black to the silver ones i have seen.

thats very nice mate, great colour. was thinking about one of these next yr as there pretty comfy to drive everyday.

@wooks, ahh k, fair enough... Yeah i mean im 6.1ft and im not what you'd call small and ive got plenty of room.. I agree, i was looking for a black one. Best colour IMO.

@jonny_gt, thanks mate.. Yeah its so comfortable, just glides but with pretty tight suspension still for good handling On the motorway at 70-80MPH in 6th you can hear nothing. So nice.

very nice. My mate has one and i have driven it loads of times. I really like them, very easy to get the back end out.

Thank you! Yeah its real easy, back end just steps out all the time! Especially in the wet!! Right good fun though when you start getting confident lol...

Nice dude... I'll wave as l fly past you filling up with fuel lol :)

Cheers Russ!

Its not great to be honest but its not terrible either... Motorway can get 32MPG... Around town i seem to be getting 24MPG although it has been snowing so im not exactly going mad :p lol but have been pissing about going sideways with some high revs!
