Cheers dude, dont want to think about that end of things! But if i was paying labour to someone i wouldn't be doing it at all. Was gonna put the engine in today but i was out last night so i cant see ity being done! Maybe tomorrow...:))

Update:

No updates now for a while, but i've been busy doing bits and pieces, tucking cables and pipes etc. Fitted the engine and shafts and:

It Lives!

Big update on monday cos i've a mad busy weekwnd on, stay tuned...:win:

Well as promised, a small update for you lot!

As i mentioned before, its up and running, bled the clutch and brakes today so can safely move about, i was beginning to think it would never happen!

Started to finish the tuck arounfd the wings and thats well underway, done the PS first as i am still waiting for my slimline rad fan.

Anyway, you get the drift, now here's a few pics of what i've been up to!

Back of the headlight, thats all the cables that will be seen!

My washer bottle, i cut the top off it and re sealed it up. I wired the 2 pumps to come on at the same time so more presure for my honda jazz water jets!

Quick shot of the underside:

Pics of the engine post tuck

And proof that she's mobile, here's my wee neighbour takin it for a spin about the house!

More detailed pics tomorrow!

so cool man. mega respect for doing it all yourself

Wire tuck looks great and the project is coming along nicely:D

What a great build, i am impressed at the amount of care and attention you have put into the project!!

Thanks for thre kind words lads. interior is pretty much finished, car is running and driving well, but i'm still waiting for my bumpers, wing, bonnet and spoiler to get finished and fitted:angry2::angry2::angry2: Nearly 3 weeks i'm waiting now, haven't had anything to do to the car so thats about the only thing holding me back now:((

On another note tho, the CEL light keeps coming on for some reason. It only comes on once the engine is at nearly or at full operating tempand usually when decellerating. I flashed the CEL with a paperclip and was getting MAP sensor but i changed it for a mate's and it made no difference at all:((
It has a pretty new O2 sensor in it too, put it in last year.

Any one have any ideas for me? Any help much appreciated!:nice:

CEL Could be the knock sensor, i mixed up two plugs from my loom that were exact same and had same symptoms as your having!

Nice build mate - big respect !

Once they were swapped round it was perfect!
