onto engine number 3..........

mate of mine is supplying the manifold already cut and with the inlet ported to 70mm :)

haha Murray!! worked out not bad, basically was buying everything off paypal credit from the payment received!!!

Alan - the HR throttle body allows for various mounting options of the IACV, so should be ok :nice:

Coming together nicely Steven, billet shifter box is a nice bit of kit :nice:

Be good to hear your view on built B18 v K after the ring trip :)

Wow you moved on quick! lol

Looking forward to the build, do you do all the work yourself?

Do all of the work myself yeah, gearbox building / engine fitting etc etc

Chris - looking forward to seeing the difference! should help lots at the ring for top end speeds, being limited to 130 seemed a hinderance during the last trip even with the 1.6 fitted!

You really do just get sh*t done Steve, really like your attitude to getting stuck in and not messing about!

This car is going to be superb with a k20 and the spec list you posted

Im also very impressed with the work that you carry out in your driveway, You wont know yourself when you eventually get a garage :)

Good luck with the build

cheers!

nope, standard engine and bolt on's will do me fine for now. should go well with the shorter FD and diff also :)

wow! this should be amence to drive!! hopefully will see it at knockhill in the near future :nice:

Bloody brilliant. great stuff steven hope all goes well for you, this car gets better and better....

:nice:

I bet you could charge Steve, sure one or two people on here would pay for all this!!

Good choice ditching the b18, I've never found them to be the most reliable. Very tidy car mate

One or two people should try it them selves, really not to hard when it comes down to it, good sense of achievement aswell

X2, I'm sure you would make some money if you charge others for your service, your builds would be enough evidence that you are more than capable

I seen this coming once your B series stuff went up for sale:D You'll love the k20:nice:

you are cool

edit: where is the thumbsup smiley jeeeez

dying to see how it will be! i know how capable my dads FD2 feels and thats with 220ish horses, same gear ratios but with less weight and more power will be fun :)

cheers!

Your cracking on with this Steve, I don't think you'll have any problem making it to the ring. The conversion seem to easier than it was that billet shifter box looks like it saves alot of work.
