Hey guys,
I'm going to be putting together a 400whp+ B16 over the next few months. I have taken some pictures so far of where i am with it which i will be updating in the next couple of days.
The spec's will be (i'll add if i've forgot anything):
B16a Block
B18c4 head (GSR)
Darton Flanged Sleeves
Mahle 9.5:1 81.25mm pistons
Crower rods
ARP head studs
ATI street damper
B16B Flywheel
Comp stage 4 clutch
Full bottom end balance (including pistons and rods)
OEM bearings
Brian crower valves
Brian crower valve keepers
Brian crower valve springs and steel retainer's
Ferrea bronze valve guides
Ferrea stem seals
Silver Surfer turbo
Go autoworks mini ram/screamer/3" downpipe
3" custom exhaust
3 angle valve job (with valve sping seated pressures checked)
Blended valve guides
Head & block skimmed (to ensure flat surface)
Block lined honed if needed.
At the moment i've just stripped and inspected the head and block and had them chemically cleaned (more pictures to follow). They are both in top condition and show no sign's of major wear or any damage. All bearings looked exactly how i'd expect them to look in a well looked after engine with no tell tail sign's of anything that would concern me.
More to come....
