Personally I think the only people that should be entitle to benefits are the ones that have honestly payed into the system. If it was down to me I'd be cutting benefits left ,right and centre and throwing them in hostels with food stamps. If you can't be bother to contribute, then we, as a country, can't be bothered with you.

I think the uk population ie not immigrants are the worst for that. All the jobs that I see being taken up by european workers round my area is purely because uk residents don't want to work for money.
 
Same problem here in Portugal , with africans , they get here , don't do nothing , the govern gives them all and all they do is make monkeys like rabbits...steal , change our identity , and so one..like a virus...
 
The UK knew what they were signing up for when they joined the EU.

Britain is strong economic and political country. There is a responsibility not to take advantage of that position.

Immigration will bring a significant workforce to the UK and promote economic growth.
 
The country is just too nice, so folk just abuse the system. I volunteered at the citizens advice bureau before finding a proper job, the amount of folk needing help just to get their benefits is just unreal, and most of them claim they can't work or come in drugged up or drunk! This is where our taxes go.. It really is annoying, but then you do get about 2/10 that are claiming for genuine reasons, not cause they can't be ****** getting out of bed to work.

This country is too nice, my family origin is Hong Kong and over there, I don't even think they do a benefit system or just some sort of dead dead strict circumstance to get it. So you're basically on your own if you decide to become a **** up. There was a point where the HK government was dishing out all permanent resident individuals an average £600 because the government had surplus cash. Mad! Yeah my parents have claimed it!
 
I think the UK should adopt a system similar to Australia's where imigrants can stay in the UK if they're sponsered by an employer who has garanteed them work for the length of thier visa, that way only imigrants who are working and paying taxes can use the benefits our goverment has to offer.

That said there are still plenty of British people who would rather laze about claiming benefits than actually doing anything productive with thier lives.
 
I had seen a few articles where the government, worried about the influx of Romanians and Bulgarians were looking to make Britain a less attractive place to migrate to. The ideas that were being bounded about were to make the social housing queue heavily favour those with a strong connection to an area which would put those from overseas at the bottom of the queue. Also talk about putting a sliding scale into the general benefits system so that the amount possible to claim would be based upon previous contributions of tax and NI. How that would work for things like people who are disabled from birth/childhood and unable to work I'm not really sure though.
Probably never happen due to the whole EU human rights court etc anyway.
 
The uk is a $hit hole, you might go as far to say the arse hole of the e.u. I don't think you can solely blame migriants although monthly editions of crime watch may tell a different story but the place is far to soft, w*****s pumping out kids left right and centre only to go and sign on and recieve in some cases more than 30k a year, what the bloody hell is that all about? That's a good yearly salary for most folk. Make it like china and limit to two kids, left wing muppets would say its against human rights but bollocks to them, they need to pull their heads out of their Arses and figure out what's going on.

X2 first thing people get handed as they enter the country is a leaflet showing what benefits you are entitled too, no wonder everyone comes running here

I'm with you here. I can't stand those leaches as well. I'd happily cut all their benefits so they can all starve and die off. The way I see it is - if you can't raise kids on your own then don't have them. It's not up to anyone else other than yourself to raise them (I actually believe there shouldn't be such thing a "child benefits".

All are "human rights" BS has just made us soft. The softer you are the Lazier people become. All this BS about teachers and parents not been able to physically smack kids is an area we've gone wrong in as well. Kids need to understand from an early age right from wrong. I always use to get a good beating when I was younger and I'm glad I did. Kids these days just get it too easy... :angry:
 
I'm not racist at all but I'm actually surprised when I hear an English accent in a town center now.

Round here the council have literally allocated whole blocks of flats for them. Isnt really helping the housing shortages for people already in the UK.

Our country has put systems in place that those who come to our country can claim benefits... Yet you feel it is those who claim the benefits are the ones at fault?

It is OUR country that has failed by putting these systems into place..

So why blame those who are simply claiming something that has been put in place for them to do so.

It is our country that has failed, not those who come here and claim benefits.

Because they aren't exactly using it in the way how a decent honest person would. These scum bags are using it as a loop hole to get money so they don't have to work. By all means though, if you've payed into the systerm all your life and you ever do come dependent on it then I haven't got a problem.
