What have you beaten in your ek9?


Ahhh ok, i did beat an MR2 and a golf gti and i raced a ep3 type s, same spec engine as mine (1.6 dohc vtec) and i whooped its arse
 
So it's not straightline but I was pleased anyway, got a BMW Z4M (321bhp) blue flagged to let me past at Brands in my EK4. Fairly clear this was down to the driving rather than the machine though!

Also, at my last local autotest, I put in faster times than a 350bhp Audi TT Quattro, 300bhp Pulsar and a Lotus Elise.

Yea I know, no straighline stuff, but that's not how I roll... :win:

Boxters ain't that fast at all, it's surprising how much quicker the ek9 is off the mark.

The Carrera was probably more down to driver and knowledge of the road. The guy didn't seem to know what he was doing. Still a great success anyway :)
 
not at all, i had it from start to finish... however, i didnt think they were that bad.

beat my mates 300bhp silvia although i think it was down to a boost leak as i was gaining on him in 5th, love racing fiesta st's as their owners think their cars are rockets.

thats the **** you love. too whip Bmw's merc's jag's the owner assume because he paid a certain amount and that the car is big thats its faster than that small car over there! its all power to weight ratio. thats why im getting a h22 done to my civic. wipe that smug smile off there faces
 
I think we have to accept the fact that most people who buy powerful cars assume that they can win just because they paid more for their car, even when they can't drive for s**t, i've beaten an older bmw m3 and an s2000 purely because they let off in the corners and i don't, straight up though either car would piss all over my 9.

cars beaten in fair race;
astra vxr and gsi's
corsa vxr, it only managed a 16's 1/4 at crail
seat leon cupra (not the r)
ep3 type-r (mates car) just left it
fn2 type-r (incredibly slow!)
eg6 vti and ek4
del slo
glanza turbo (not sure on power)
focus st
standard ek9 (mates car)

beaten by;
mates 280hp 200sx left me for dead lol
mates 98 spec dc2, not really beaten as such just neither one of us could pull away
mk1 focus rs, sat behind it untill end of 3rd then he started getting away

Just to add mine's a stroked b16b
 
I totally smoked a audi tt the other night there. Not sure what engine it had but the guy was pissed off at the fact he couldnt keep up
