What I have been upto with the EK9!!! **(more updates on page 3)**

Well sins I got my 9 I have been doing quite bait of work to get it to were I want!

Things done up to now-

Fixed speed sensor (was jumping round all the time)
Fixed oil leak
Fitted new NS door (old one had dent & bad repair)
Fixed fog light (new bulb)
New fittings all all 4 corners for the bumpers to fit nice & snug
Helicoiled seat mountings (both rear seat bolts were threaded on both seats)
Fitted new set of seat belts (all 4)
Fitted some OEM Recaros
Raised the ride hight
Fitted a "H" brase
Full service Inc oil/plugs/timing belt/tensoner
Cheeked over the whole car
Resprayed front bumper
Bled brakes up with RBF600
Change gear oil
Fitted new Bremtec discs & DS2500 pads to the front
Replace oil valve stem seals & valve guides
Check valve clearances
Front & rear drop links
Rear RTA bushes
Changed steering rack

Things to do-

Repaint back bumper


O yeah I test fitted my track rims too:dance:

Looking good now bud, was def in need of a bit of TLC when you first got it.

It is a good feeling when you pull a car like this back up to scratch.

I got new fittings/mountings for all 4 corners were they meet the wings/rear quarters!
They were held on with tie wraps before!:shocked:

Cheers mate, yeah it was defo in need of some TLC & still does but it's getting there slowly but surely. (one day a week I set aside for doing my car)

Yeah it is a good feeling pulling it back to it's former glory:nice:
It's never going to be the "mintiest" EK9 out there but as long as it looks half decent & gets me round the track with a big smile then I'm happy!:p
 
looking real nice jimbob :) as said wheels look 100 times better in that colour and glad to see a 9 coming back to life :)

These yellow wheels are just my track rims mate, the White ones are still on for daily usage!
Although they will be getting refurbed OEM CW or matt black soon.
