ok folks away to get some new tread soon . currently been using the yokohama parada spec2 the past 2 years . for the money they are great imo dont wear quick . only thing that lets them down slightly is the soft sidewalls which i would imagine being a problem if going on track which i hope to be doing this year . i have also tried the toyo r888 in soft compound but for the money i dont think there worth it imo .

so only looking for comments from folk that have actually used the rs2's please

:thanks:

For the money the are meant to be great! i cant comment on sidewall stiffness though.

Im hoping to get some prada spec 2's. Just out of interest what size do you use? 195/55 or 195/50??

I'll be going for 50's just to make that sidewall a lil stiffer!

I used the RS2 in 16 on track and didnt rate them, although it was my first track day so didnt really push them.

much better with Spec2's i think though man. Plus they are like £60 cheaper

yeah im using 195/50/15 the paradas are good tyres for fast road and daily drive imo . for £30 a tyre you cant complain anyway

hmmm . dont get me wrong i do think the parada's are really good for the money it was just the sidewalls that was putting me off them

would you say the rs2 has a stiffer sidewall than the yoks??

i know the price is awesome as well i can put a full set of paradas on my car for £120 + vat lol

I really liked them, got them in 195/50/15. they are definately alot stiffer than the proxes i've on now, might get some when the wheather improves as they weren't too hot in the wet! Also pretty sure i only got like 4000 miles from them before they where complete slicks and down to the thread. Still though i really miss them! lol

i fitted my toyo R1R's last week, and so far realy like them, not cheap but another alternative for you.

£120 + vat :O wheres this from??

the best price ive found is £155 + vat :(

The ITR guys really don't rate the Prada Spec 2s unless in 16s, the 15s seem too soft. RS2s are known for their stiff sidewall and in 15 are meant to be good, seems to be one of the ITR tyres of choice now a days if it's anything to go by. Rarerims can get them £55 a corner in 15" too. I'll be getting those or the new Yoko AD08s in the next few months!

Ive just ordered a pair of RS2 off camskills. £114 delivered. For 2 tires.

Bought them to replace my rear 888 when they run out. Havent used them yet so cant comment but reviews show alot of people are happy with them with the exception of a few.

aye camskill are £55 per tyre! I though recently about giving them another go but think im going AO48's :(

I want to try those AO48's big time but the price is very high. Cant afford it at the moment. SO much stuff to do :angry2:

have the hankook rs2 and must say for the money they are really good. better than anything else in price range.

i had this dilimer but seeing as my rays are for road i went for proiexs which were 128 delivered and have got track wheels on the way for which i will be getting r888 for £220 strictly track use :) again people ive spoke to rate the rs2's very highly
