    Which Coolant For My EK9 !!

    Just make sure you don't mix pink anti freeze (german cars usually run this) with blue. This will create an acidic mix that can be harmful to the internals of your engine.

    Hi blinx. Being a mechanic i have seen this problem a few times. If it not the thrust bearing it is usually the spigot bearing on the flywheel. Chinese bearings in my experience are not usually good quality by not being perfectly spherical.

    Says in the haynes manual 33Nm. They don't need to be really tight. I usually do them to 30Nm. The important ones are the caliper carrier bracket bolts( ones which bolt to the hub).

    Hi steven. I have ordered the si prop valve. However it looks exactly the same as the ej9 prop valve. Does this mean they are different internally. Did the one you order for your ek9 non- abs conversion look the same as your old ek9 one but with 6 holes instead of 4?

    You need either the mg zr 160 or zs 180 discs calipers and carriers.(These are a DIRECT fit) If you go with the civic mb6 setup the only difference is the disc is 2 mm deeper so will need 2mm milling of the carrier to make the disc central. I have also found the rover 600 series calipers AND...
