Must feel good to be so far along Neil. I bet you'll agree the feeling was soooo good when it started first time after and engine swap :nice:

You going to stop here or do you have more plans?

Cheers! it does feel good being so far along, but still miles to go yet!! Stop? is there such a word??
Still need some RCA's / New Gearset / Stiffer Springs or New Suspension / Lexan Windows (got a useful man ) / Roll Cage / / EK9 Headlights, Tbh the list goes on and on! Just a case of money and time as allways!

Just going to use it this year and concentrate on new stuff over winter! Only reason i ended up with the engine was because it was too cheap to resist :nice:

Looking good is it a B18C-R? What tranny do you have was that changed too, or are using the B16A tranny? Any new updates?

Its a B18C6 out of a UK Integra type R. Currently got a stock S80 Box on it, but that's changing soon!

Thanks for the comments and more updates should be here soon :nice:

Nope! :(
I really want a set but refuse to pay £500 from honda. Tbh i may just DIY them, as much as i would love genuine ones. i would rather do it DIY than pay £250-300 For a set of second hand 11 year old honda civic headlights lol

Just keeping my eyes out for a set at a bargain price *fingers crossed*

Well its been a while since i updated as ive been quite frustrated with it all recently tbh! After yesterdays outing it has all been made worth while!
Here is whats been done over the past couple of months!
A few things needed doing like better cooling and the gearbox needed a re-fresh so heres the list i made up.
New Gearbox Bearings / Seals & Carbon lined Syncros from Syncrotech
New 4th and 5th Gear out of an S4C EK9 Box
Another TRS 4Point Harness For the passenger
Koyo Dual Core Radiator & Rad Cap
Water Temp Sender Hose Adaptor
Mocal 16row Oil Cooler & Fittings
Oil Temp Sender
Thermostatic Sandwich Plate
Oil Pressure Sender
Water Temp Guage
Oil Temp Guage
Oil Pressure Guage
Single Din Guage Mount
Hamp Oil Filter
Fuchs Silkolene Race S 5w40 Oil
also i sold the Kosie K1’s without tyres and bought some new wheels with Federal FZ-201 Semi Slicks :D Got a snap of the car while they were off getting balanced & Filled with Nitrogen

That’s the parts, So ill let the pics do the talking!

New 4th and 5th

(SO much better than the stock S80 4th and 5th, Especially with the 4.7fd)
Bits and bobs

Gearbox Carbon lined Syncros / Bearings / Seals / Syncro Springs

Lines put together ready

Then Once again “scooby projects” turned into a Honda garage for the night, And once again si was back with me getting this stuff on the car!!  Cant thank him enough after having a **** day to still help me get this ready. True Legend.

Nothing like having the deadline of a trackday in the morning to be ready for! So we cracked on!

Guages In

We finally got back home for 1:30am, Having to be up at 5:45am for Some sessions @ Mallory park with Welz.

Car performed so well it really did make the stress of the past 2months worth it, First session of the day was just getting used to the car, and getting held up by a fair of ***** that literally wouldn't let you past.
But the second session was awesome, i didn't see WELZ as he was behind me but looked like he was flying past everyone! myself and si passed the whole grid much to our suprise! Our cars are very well matched now so was good fun! Surprised me after seeing si’s recent power figures! really was a great day. I got some on-board footage from mine of me following si, Welz got some footage aswell, cant wait to see it!.
Here’s My On Board, Had to cut it short as youtube wouldnt let me have the whole thing!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ww_SOYRoBpA

And us Cooling down after the session!

Now Just to swap over onto the ek9 wheels again ready for the drive on Thursday to the Nurburgring for 4 days :D Can’t Wait!
