Its either a H-brace, But i assume you are on about the ASR subframe brace, you can get them from Weksos (weaksauce) form the USA, i got mine from Vtecdirect.co.uk cost me around the £250 mark for The subframe brace & ARB / Droplinks / Bushings, if your only after the brace you can get it for not as much, but couldnt tell you how much as ive never looked :)

Cheers for the comments guys, will be some more updates soon :)

I know this technically isnt progress...... but ive wanted this picture for so long that i count it as a step forward!

195/60/R15 :)

Ive just put a complete straight through B-pipe on aswell, however its VERY loud and driving me insane on the way to and from work, ive got an old baffled decat im going to weld into it to act as a silencer and also cut it down in size so i can fit a catalytic converter when it comes to MOT time!! :p Got the Teg wheels on agian now ready for winter, along with double layers of carpet in the back to keep the noise down and make it as comfy as possible in the cold months :D

how are the function 7 arms. any problems with them ? and about the asr subframe ,did you have to drill holes to connect the upper part of it ?

with the ASR brace it was all i direct fit i didnt have to re-drill anything just bolted on :)

And as for the Function7's they are spot on, the poly bushes with metal inserts are solid as a rock!! Feel alot tighter than my previous LCA's which only had hard rubber bushes and being poly they wont wear out. well.. not for a long time! 8)

After my 3rd OEM B-pipe splitting in the exact same place AGAIN i gave up and bought an aftermarket one off K-i-s (thanks dude) Fitment was perfect but being a straight pipe from Manifold to backbox its VERY VERY loud, so instead of butchering it and putting a silencer in Etc ive just purchased this spoon B-pipe of KV on here picked it up on saturday (Many thanks and good to meet you dude!)... and you scott!

as you can see it has 2 bolts where the Decat is fitted.... so im taking round my mates after work to weld a 3bolt flange on so i can fit a standard Cat when i need to :) Will update 2morrow with some pics of the work and hopefully it going on and the other one coming off! still alot more to do until its not annoying me but this is the main thing sorted!

Keep it up Neil!

I broke my M-Factory H brace :( The welds just pulled apart. That was in a hardcore race car though, I would imagine in a street car it would be ok.

I always liked EKs in silver (my good mate has a spooned out EK3 vtiR), roll on track vids! :p

There will be some next year dont worry!! yeah my H-brace takes a beating but is yet to brake, give it time! haha ive only got one video of it on a track and its the nurburgring but its in the wet so its not the most fun watch, i had slicks on and was only my second time around it so speed wasnt really the key :p haha

Busy weekend! Thought as i was fitting the new exhaust it was abouts time i washed the car (after about 3months) Took wheels off and gave all the suspension threads a clean & re-grease & generally cleaned in the arches, it needs re-sealing as you can see but it will all be done in time! Also put the EK9 wheels back on as i need vredestiens in theese wet conditions and the RE010's on the teg wheels are nearly out of lif so this will encourage me to re-furb & Re-tyre them :D anyways, pics of getting the exhaust welded & the cleaning progress!

The bits needed (pinching both flanges off the fubar decat) .....haha flange

"whats the size of this mags" ?? mags????

also what size tyre on these disks??

My tyres are 195/45/15 ... hope this helps? :)

Got my new brace all painted up and fitted , and due to my sister getting a new car i had her old stereo off her aswell :D

3pointfit7.jpg

yes i know it needs a clean!

anyways to paint the 3point i made my own mini spray booth in the garage and set to work!

3pointfit5.jpg

... 1 can of primer, 2 cans of Honda Polar white, and 1 can of laquer later!

Left it to set over night inside

3pointfit4.jpg

then got it fitted!

3pointfit1.jpg

I had to fight with it for about 1/2 hour to get it on but then once it was on the fitment was 100% perfect!

3pointfit3.jpg

Then my alarm wasnt working........ whenever i locked it a few minutes afterwards the alarm would go off :S, it had to be something id done earlier on... it was!

Where the bonnet pushes in the switch to break the circuit when its closed, it was pushing it onto the 3Point.. completing the circuit haha so i just got some trim repair tape on there and problem solved :D

3pointfit11.jpg

:(

3pointfit10.jpg

:D

got a quick snap aswell.... Excuse the tiny size haha

3pointfit13.jpg

compared to the set up i had before it can only be describes as "tighter"... not a MASSIVE improvement but i did have 2 strut braces on before (spoon and stock VTI..at the same time) , Deffo worth the money :)
