yeah on my dyno dynamics print out mine made 125 bhp @ 2600rpm!!
 
Got my B20 tuned today and my Vtec Enabled after a massive 1600 miles running in period:nice:

Small update which could have been bigger if not for unforseen circumstances which resulted in us running out of time to complete the full tune.

Dyno results were 172 hp/139 ft lbs torque.....Out of Vtec !!!!!!!! :shocked:
Back on tuesday for completion

Nice write up mate, car looks great and im sure it will be very quick once all tuned. Look forward to seeing the final results :)
 
Saw this when I was down at Daz's old place a few weeks ago, very nice EK9 mate.

I also have a rather tasty B20 down at Daz's he has built for me :)
 
Looking forward to seeing the results! After my last track day, I have been thinking daily about a B20/B16 head swap, or a slightly worked B18C swap.....
 
i do love a b20 had mine over 5 years not a single problem, its been turbo'd for 2 of them.

when mine was N/A it made 154WHP and 121ft/lb 10.5-1cpr and ITR Cams

Turbo'd 289.4WHP and 221.6ft/lb

Im not sure what my figures would be at the flywheel. Does anyone know how to convert from fly to wheel.

good luck with the final tune, the power gains are awesome, i raced an NSX and it wasnt until 110mph he finnally over took me, you wont be dissapointed
 
Had a good read through your build thread, reading more stories about reliable b20's than the usual horror stories.

Seriously tempting me to go down the b20 route.

It's very important who builds them.

very true.

its best to sit down and take a long look at the build and dont rush things over, built right a b20 will last for years, i have done over 80000 miles on mine and 20000 has been boosted.
 
Well this was definately worth the wait :)

I was told the dyno used has recently been calibrated and a stock Jdm DC2 made very close to stock power (200hp) only a few weeks ago.

My car made great power that I think even Daz himself was pleasantly suprised with. I was just beaming.:D:D:D:D:D

Car was mapped on 97 Ron Fuel and the Cat was also fitted.
221.6 Bhp and 150.4 lbft Torque
Thats 180.2bhp @ the wheels :bow:

The drive back through the B Roads around Worcester was something else :dance:

Anyone thinking about the B20 route......Just do it !!

How Long did he have yours for? I've asked to get the bumper resprayed while it's off too as it's honking.
 
Great figures mate. Il be having mine tuned by him at the same RR.
